Flashing MinimOSD

Note: The MSP telemetry protocol is now supported so MWOSD can be used, it offers a richer feature set than minimosd-extra and is actively developed. See User Guide: Setting Up MWOSD

1. Download CT for MinimOSD Extra 2.2.zip to configure and update the OSD https://code.google.com/p/minimosd-extra/downloads/detail?name=CT%20for%20MinimOSD%20Extra%202.2.zip&can=2&q=
2. Using an FTDI chip connect the serial port on the MinimOSD to your computer
3. Download the firmware from here https://code.google.com/p/minimosd-extra/downloads/list (I used MinimOSD extra copter 2.2.hex)
4. Select the com port your board is connected to in the configuration tool. Select options->upload firmware and select the firmware file.
5. Hold down the reset button and click OK immediately when you release it.
