Sharing Profiles

Thanks to the modularity of Minecraft Manager and the Open Minecraft Asset Format, sharing Profiles with tiny files is very simple.

Sharing a Profile

Either Right Click or Click on the Profile, then select “Share” You will be presented with a menu asking you to select your folders. These are folders inside your Minecraft directory. For example, if you wanted to include the worlds you’ve made in that Profile within the export, you would select the “saves” folder. Then, click “Share”, choose you location, and you’re done!

Profiles are exported as very tiny, typically less than 1 MB files because sub assets such as mods aren’t actually included. They are downloaded upon import, allowing you to easily share the file over a service such as Discord without worrying about storage.

Importing a Profile

Received a Profile from a friend? It’s very easy to import a Profile. From the Profiles screen, click “import,” and then choose your file. You’re all done! Your profile will begin importing, downloading mods and required frameworks.
