Release 2.0

This release brings some changes to the structure of the README file, plus revisions to most of the text.

• A new section, Quick start, has been added.
• A previous section, Authors and history, has been merged into the Acknowledgments section.
• The content of most sections has been revised, enhanced, and clarified.
• A few additional sources have been acknowledged.

No content changes in README.md.

This release merely adds a CITATION.cff file for the READMINE repository.

This release fixes a typo in the README.md file and a bad URL in the codemeta.json file.

Release 1.0.4 – Update codemeta.json & release number badge

Update codemeta.json. Also, update the release num badge to use the shields.io dynamic version number service.

Release 1.0.3 – Fix some TOC links

This release fixes a couple of incorrect internal cross-links in the README file. There are no other changes.

Release 1.0.2 – add DOI

The only changes in this release is the addition of a DOI badge and link to the top of the README file, and updates to the version number shown on the README file and in the codemeta.json file.

The only change in this release is the addition of a codemeta.json file to the repository. There are no other changes.
