As highlighted in JENKINS-68275 we should really update to a more common
base, as it's almost 3 years old! By migrating to 2.332.3, we're now
using an LTS with very high usage numbers, and it gives us a better base
to work off of.

The Gradle toolchain is unlikely to work well if at all with recent Jenkins releases. In the long term this plugin will likely need to be migrated to Maven like the vast majority of other Jenkins plugins.
