For better or worse, if it's a git repo jest and react-scripts will "detect" tests that need to run (fairly successfully) based on the current change set. Net result is, when there aren't any changes, you're presented with options:
No tests found related to files changed since last commit.
Press `a` to run all tests, or run Jest with `--watchAll`.
Watch Usage
› Press a to run all tests.
› Press p to filter by a filename regex pattern.
› Press t to filter by a test name regex pattern.
› Press q to quit watch mode.
› Press Enter to trigger a test run.
Found a hack to avert this and added a script test-dev that retains the old behavior (which is convenient for development).

any idea why test coverage drops when there are no source code changes? are the tests non-deterministic? |

Is there an issue created for Create-React-App as well? Also, should we upgrade to latest? |

@saminzadeh Upgrading to the latest create-react-app won't solve the issue. I figured not to bother upgrading, now, in that case. @yurishkuro Not sure. Might be related to our randomly generated test data. https://coveralls.io/builds/13846553 -> "Coverage Changed" shows 14 files with different coverage. I definitely think the randomly generated test data is a factor and possibly the culprit. |

Was able to reproduce #96 locally with:
Issue stems from something specific to
jestprejest@20.1.0-alpha.3, apparently.A way to resolve the issue is:
Or, upgrading jest resolved the issue (when running with
--no-watchman).Only precarious thing about upgrading
