i was just wonders if there was any way to download an entire artist instead of having to download one album at a time?

No, I believe that would not be possible. I'm not aware of a Spotify functionality where you could list all songs by an artist, which would be required in order to download them from YouTube (which potentially could be hundreds or even thousands of songs?).
Let's leave this open for an opinion from @ritiek or @vn-ki.

Yea, doesn't seem like there is such a functionality available in the web-api.

However, we could fetch all albums of an artist and fetch tracks from each one as mentioned in this stackoverflow answer https://stackoverflow.com/a/40021697/6554943. I think this would be a good addition. Songs could definitely go into large numbers but this feature would be useful for small artists.
