Selection is off after toggling fullscreen

If you toggle the fullscreen mode after making a selection, it get's distorted, and not the same selection is present anymore.

I'm not able to reproduce this. Please provide detailed step-by-step instructions on how to reproduce this issue. Please also set up a jsFiddle if necessary. Finally, please specify your browser, browser version, OS, and OS version.

1. While in the plain view mode - select some text fragment (it becomes highlighted with grey background)
2. Toggle 'Side by Side' mode. Observe selected fragment. Note: selection is distorted and often misplaced.
3. Return to the plain view mode. Observe fragment that was selected originally. Note: selection is distorted even more and doesn't correspond to original

I'm only able to reproduce this when going from side-by-side mode to non-side-by-side mode (while staying in fullscreen).
