can't upgrade cask, undefined method `artifacts'

Description of issue

When I run brew upgrade --greedy to upgrade, there is a problem —— the upgrade was not successful, and the app is corrupted and cannot be opened.
The upgrade process is as follows

Strangely, the upgrade process requires me to enter my password, which was not required before
and when moving App to /Applications, the app didn't exist.
After reverting upgrade, You can’t open the application “Visual Studio Code.app” because it may be damaged or incomplete.

I try to reinstall brew, and run brew upgrade --greedy, but doesn't work.

When I enable App Management for iTerm, it did work.
