This build was done on my Pinebook Pro to test building on arm64. It took 2 hours 39 minutes, compared to about 20 minutes on my main PC. The poor RK3399 doesn't seem cut out for this work, but building on arm for arm seemed appropriate. 😆

is now used for setup, rather than a custom /sbin/init
script. As a result, you are instead prompted to set a root password rather than create a user account.

Major refactoring of the build process!
- Package setup is now completed during the build process.
- Consequently, first boot time is now under 5 minutes (down from 25 minutes). 🥳
- Switched to a disk image to simplify installation. Windows users are now welcome.
- Combined upgrade package, replacing the separate
boot
andmodules
files. - Now using
dropbear
instead ofopenssh-server
due to performance.
