Architecture Overview

The component diagram below gives an overview of the component architecture for the KoPL tool chain. It is integrated into the IDE and consists of three basic building blocks:

• Components for Product-Line Consolidation
• Components for Product-Line Maintenance
• Components for Technology Cartridges (Potentially there can be various cartridges for different technology spaces. The architecture overview only contains the Technology Cartridge for Java that is required for the KoPL case studies.)

Each of the main components consists' of one or more OSGi bundles published as features.

The componentes are organized in three categories:

• Infrastructure Components
• Components for Product-Consolidation
• Components for Product-Line Maintenance
• Components for Technology Specifics (JaMoPP Cartridge)
