NTPWEdit (NT Password Editor) is an open-source utility that can be used to change the passwords of or unlock any user on a Windows system by directly editing the SAM file. It's useful tool when you've forgotten the password of a particular user account and need to gain access. This tool can't be used while Windows is running, it's useful when used with something like WinPE.
