brew2deb

This is a hack that combines Homebrew and FPM to build a Ruby version of pacman's makepkg.

setup

$ apt-get install dpkg-dev pbuilder
$ apt-get install ruby rubygems libjson-ruby
$ apt-get install git
$ git clone git://github.com/tmm1/brew2deb

usage

$ cd packages/git
$ tree
