List of Easter Eggs (SPOILER)
"A mod that mod developer hates his own modification."
Sayonika will be established very soon (by the making of this post). I wanted to post this mod in that website to give some exposure to my mod, hoping that someone is interested in taking over this mod. Also, I thought on making wiki, specifically on easter eggs in my mod. So far, I think no one dug my secret lair yet, as there are lots of things that you don't know about my mod and its direction. I'll try to make it clear, but spoiler alert though. I'll probably need some assistant to check grammar, or any easter eggs that you find did not make it on the list. Because I somehow forgot where I hide my secrets, so it will be tough to find them. Use rpatool and unrpyc to make things easier.
This page will explain these easter eggs, so you can see the progress and direction that this mod has to offer. They can be found in-game mechanics, or outside the game, or even in this github. The order might be a bit unorganized but it will be fixed soon (either in-game timeline or alphabetic).
* Note: This list only explain the location of the files. I can only explain some of them briefly and (sometimes) not in full detail. You have to discover them by yourself.
- Delete
mod_firstrun
in[Your DDLC folder]/game
will reset everything properly, just like first time downloading and playing my mod. This make irreversible effect listed below "reversible", but have to start over again at the very beginning - "History" page usually avoids glitched text, or irregular or "unimportant" dialogues by MC while in conversation. There are a few exceptions
- Restarting again in the first scene of the game resulting in normal conversation just like the original DDLC. There will be weird "new unheard dialogues" appear, very obvious when skipping the dialogues
- Questionable "profanity filter" operation. There are some conversations that were "missed" to filter them out. Probably in day 2 scene
- Day 1 to day 2 transition, where there are a "chain/number 8" logo and chibi Monika at the middle and colored "tile" at left and right of the screen. The message is quite unclear. Only happened once, restarting/reloading the game may not appear anymore
- In "hanging out with Natsuki scene", there is a secret route where MC is helping Natsuki getting up by skipping the dialogues. There is a skip button enabled without notice (from grey to dark-colored "Skip" button) somewhere between that scene. Only happened once
- Going full route with Yuri will have a secret route somewhere in "reading book with Yuri" scene. This scene where MC going full sentient instead of being a confusing brat, but as soon as the scene finished, he can't remember what happened. Only happened once
- Monika route is secretly available in the game. Then, the direction of this mod and its ending scene will be different (according to the storyline of this mod) Unfortunately, this does not make it into the final release
- In some occasion, there will be a hidden message inside the "History" page. Usually to show their true nature (all characters except Sayori and MC). Happens somewhere in day 2 scene

folder. Don't know why I kept it there, but that's quite a nice spot to put important things. Not useful in any way -

folder. Not present in github, but in yourmod_assets.rpa
. It has "very creepy" sound, and there are "people" enchanting stuff at the end of the sound file. Supposed to be played at the startup game -
dnn.ogg

folder. A person talking about DNN (deep neural network). Don't know why I did that, but just likepj.ogg
, it does not present in github. Not useful in any way -

folder. Not present in github. The word "project_faith" written at the center of the picture. Putting the picture under black background reveals more words surrounding it. Blending it with white background hides them and only "project_faith" word appears. Supposed to reveal at the startup game, along with pj.ogg -
inject.rpyc
insidegame
folder is nothing more than a dummy file. However, tampering it might result in not able to run the game properly. Does not appear in github. Naming other files same as this one will not work, even though it's dummy - "Hidden developer message" by me. It's located somewhere in the
game
folder. Hint: It's not in.rpa
form - The files appearing outside the game while playing may appear as a jumble of text name file or proper one. There are a total of 4. The author of the message is unknown
- The secret file called
day3a.rpyc
insidegame
folder. It was supposed to have day 3 scene, but I can't seem to continue doing it. Only contains an ending scene with a black background and my commentaries inside the dialogue box

All of the original images and sound effects from the game is not available in github, however all of the images and sounds lightly modified by me (in mod_assets
folder) are still owned by Team Salvato and all of the credits are only for them. No custom-made sprites, CG images or soundtracks in this mod. (except the music called Time to Time by khai dreams
- which is already permitted by the author)
