This weekly report provides a high-level overview of what's happening with Filecoin governance. This week's update encapsulates two weeks, due to staff being out of office.

🔥 HOT 🔥 Discussion Topics

• A new FIP draft that would provide extra incentive for longer term storage contracts.
• A proposed PoRep security policy, which proposes a path forward for situations in which technical errors or other vulnerabilities are discovered in the proofs and sealing process. This proposal was made in response to FIP0036.
• CREATE2, a proposal for predictable actor address generation for wallets and state channels.
• A proposal to decouple Fil+ from storage marketplaces.
