Description

Increase the initial heap size for Espressif-IDE from 256m to 2048m and the maximum heap size from 2048m to 4096m to improve IDE launch performance. This change also enhances the indexer and parser performance when dealing with a larger number of files.

Walkthrough

The changes reflect a version increment across multiple components of the Espressif IDE, updating from 3.0.0 to 3.1.0. This includes updates to the manifest files, feature definitions, and product configurations. Notably, memory allocation parameters for the Java Virtual Machine have been enhanced to improve performance. These updates indicate ongoing development and refinement of the Espressif IDE and its associated features.

Changes

Early access features: disabled

We are currently testing the following features in early access:

  • Anthropic claude-3-5-sonnet for code reviews: Anthropic claims that the new Claude model has stronger code understanding and code generation capabilities than their previous models. Note: Our default code review model was also updated late last week. Please compare the quality of the reviews between the two models by toggling the early access feature.

Note:

  • You can enable or disable early access features from the CodeRabbit UI or by updating the CodeRabbit configuration file.
