[Question] Why is npm described as ”not supported”? #4083

Thanks for checking! Your notes on the topic are correct - I believe npm is usable with EUI again. Installing a custom lodash dependency was the only known issue. As long as the dependencies exist (webpack & other bundlers complain loudy and/or fail by default if those dependencies aren't available), everything should be good. The documentation has not been updated yet as we haven't had time to do a full run-through using npm to confirm.

I'm closing this as answered, but if you have any further questions or issues using EUI please re-open or create a new issue.
