Use following steps to create a new release

  • Edit setup.py, advance version number, save it.
  • Commit and push the work.
  • Visit releases page of the repository.
  • Draft a new release.
  • Choose a tag, find or create new one.
  • Generate release notes if necessary.
  • Fill release title and describe the release.
  • Set as the latest release.
  • Publish release.
