Ubuntu 12.10 is EOL as of 5/16/2014. The mirrors are no longer hosted at Ubuntu's repos, meaning even installation is difficult/requires using outdated mirrors.
There are also no preseed files in the repo to support this release - I discovered this while trying to get them working :)
I propose removing 12.10 as it's not an LTS release and is now unsupported.
