Renai is a high fantasy adult game set in the mystical world of Silre, where 'magic' and 'metal' are synonymous. As demons begin to spill from a crack in the gates to hell, a goddess bestows you with the power to save humanity. Was her faith unfounded?

In Renai, you play as the leader of an isolated town, suddenly thrown into power when you use the goddess Eshkir's divine might to save the inhabitants from invading demons. Your job is to keep the town from being destroyed in the wake of your homeland's collapse. Many will help you along your journey, but many more will try to crush your town beneath their fists.

This project is under the Mozilla General Public License v2.0.

Renai is programmed entirely with the C programming language (C11). This game's development is my hobby, and I aim to make it performant but good-looking. It is a sort of Stardew Valley-looking pixelated game, with brief renderings by hand to emphasize certain scenes.

This game is also completely open-source, meaning anything you want to do with the software--inside the bounds of the Mozilla General Public License--is fully within your reach. Modding? Sure, if you want to put that much effort forward! Above all, this is simply a hobby project, and if I either get tips or enlighten people on how to do certain things, I'll still be happy.
