The inner workings of this new functionality are recorded in the heavily-commented
utils.subset_vrt_demfunction. The new functionality probably also warrants changes to PGC image processing workflow documentation, which I will address when I can.Currently this functionality is only in pgc_ortho.py and not pgc_pansharpen.py. However, combining pgc_ortho.py & pgc_pansharpen.py into a single script is on the docket (#23), which would make this added functionality accessible to both types of image processing.
