Dancer vs Dancer2

The project Dancer has been set feature-frozen. There is still support and maintenance for Dancer but new features shall be integrated in the re-write Dancer2.
Normally rewriting software from scratch is seldom a good idea. The reasons behind this rewrite were the grave architectural shortcomings that arose when Dancer was used in a large scale environment.
