Can the Qodana tool be used with JDK 1.8 adopt version?

I am trying to use your Qodana tool for static analysis in the CI process by leveraging Git Actions.

However, I encountered the following error. It seems that you are using JDK 17 internally

does this mean that it cannot be used with JDK 1.8?
How can I fix this?

Please try adding to qodana.yaml in your project root:

projectJDK: 1.8

The setup looks ok. It all depends on your needs so it's difficult for me to recommend to you anything. You can check Inspectopedia to search for different inspections what you might need. At the bottom of each page you'll find whether this inspection is available in Qodana and what plugin provides it.

I'm using Gradle and Cache to build in the CI pipeline, and I want to speed up the build process.(now is 7mimutes)
Is there any way to improve the build speed?

The Qodana action automatically manages caches, so there is no need to have the Cache Qodana step. Currently there is no way to speed it up more. However, the next week we're releasing the native mode for all linters, which will allow running Qodana without Docker. It could speed up the startup of Qodana, but not the analysis stage itself
