This wiki contains some information about what's included in the HappyPorch.UmbracoExtensions.Core project and how to use it.
The package can be installed in your Umbraco v8 project via NuGet. There is also an accompanying package used to install any related frontend parts (CSS, JS, dashboard HTML, etc.).
