Release testing instructions: Storefront 2.5.7

Storefront 2.5.7 is a small release with bug fixes and compatibility improvements.

Setting up Storefront

To test 2.5.7, you will need a site running the latest WooCommerce core.

Download Storefront 2.5.7 from GitHub here (when available).

Install and activate the Storefront theme on your test site.

Refer to documentation for more detailed information about setting up store.

Edit, reply and author icons are now displayed in comment list

In 2.5.7 the comment UI in blog posts is improved:

• Icons are shown on the edit and reply buttons.
• Comments by the author show a document icon.

To test:

1. Add a new blog post. Or if your test site already has some posts use an existing post.
2. View the post on the front end and scroll down to comments. Scroll down to Leave a reply and leave a comment. Confirm that comments from the post author show a document icon.
3. View a post with comments on the front end. All comments should have Reply and Edit buttons, with appropriate icons (reply, pencil).
