Limited functions when using portrait resolution #1

When running the game on a dual screen system (1x portrait, 1x reversed portrait) the game has 2 problems:

1/2. Video glitches/artifacts missings on menu screen when reaching the "HELP" option.
It works fine:

Until I selected "HELP":

and 2/2: the keyboard is not fully recognized. I can use arrows to move around but not press ENTER to confirm. ALT+F4 is needed to exit.
