According to https://help.github.com/articles/securing-your-github-pages-site-with-https/ - https is not supported on custom domains, but we should keep this open, to regularly check if that has changed.

It's possible to do this with cloudflare, if we want. Otherwise, yeah, https won't work.

Well, given the fact, that vimperator.org's usage will go down drastically once it's not compatible with FF57 anymore, I don't think the effort of moving the site to another hoster is worth it. However, thanks for the suggestion, didn't know netlify, but looks nice.
