I just saw this comment by cm-t where the icon used to upgrade monsters is a settings cog icon which is mistaken for the app settings icon. Perhaps a upgrade icon might be more easier to understand.

So the "Monster tuning" has to be accessible somehow from the Main menu and from the Game over view to give the player always the possibility to see/change the monster properties and give access to the settings.
Do you have any suggestions how to solve this? Making a Settings and a Monster tuning view? I think the main menu would be overloaded with an other button, so the game over view.
Personally I would separate the Settings Page and the Monster Tuning Page since they offer two different functionalities. The Monster Tuning Page needn't be directly accessible from the Main Menu. Instead you could just add a Reset button to the settings page and use that to reset the player settings (and monster points).
While the Monster Tuning Page and the Settings Page can be shown in the Game Overview dialog as separate entities since a player would like to either change the monster entities points or even adjust game settings as well.
I also think that the Game Overview dialog at the moment is very confusing. But that's a different bug altogether.
