In 2.3, a new feature in Dashboards allows users to create alerts from the visualization layer versus switching contexts and creating an alert through the alerts flow.

This is going to move to 2.4 @Naarcha-AWS. Updating accordingly.

As a quick update, the technical teams are still shooting for 2.4 for Dashboards integration.

Status: Finalizing release date; won't be part of 2.6; writer held doc kickoff meeting 2/13; writer continuing to work with UX and eng and attend feature briefs
