I have a post to the Stardog Community Forums about this. Unfortunately, there has been no response yet (06-27-2023)

In the mean time a workaround is to break up the expression into two different equivalent class expressions.

I have tested the workaround in "Competitor" and it works.

I never got a response from any member of the Stardog Community on this issue. Hence, it looks to me as if we need to apply the workaround (use the multiple equivalent class expressions). Sigh.

Yeah, still no Stardog Community comments. I'm planning on using the work-around for the TAL equivalent class expressions needed for the Boarderless Cyber presentation.
