FR/Question: GPS Only mode possible?

so I fly a ton of inav planes, but i also fly a lot of non inav planes and so does my friend. I was wondering if it was possible to put "inav radar" on a NON FC based plane using just the gps.

The reason is it would be nice to be able to find him when he's not flying an inav plane for formation flying, sometimes it's hard to find his plane unless you're right on top of it :D

SO basically i would like to be able to just put a module and a gps on his plane and have it show up in my osd.
