Python requires ipykernel installed or requires an update. #6272

Hey everyone, I managed to make it work for me, but I'm not 100% sure if my problem is exactly the same as yours. Anyway, here is what I did on Windows (commands will differ depending on OS):
If you have a settings.json file in your project folder, make sure that that is points to the correct python file in your virtual environment ("python.pythonPath": "venv\Scripts\python.exe") My guess is that this issue has something to do with conda environments. Hope this helps. |

I guess the main question is: why is jupyter trying to connect to the base environment instead of venv? |
