NFC no longer appears to work. No error is displayed.

I do not get an error, but I have been unable to use any NFC functions over the past couple of days or so. This was on a raspberry Pi 3 that had used NFC functions previously without issue. Nothing was changed or updated on the Pi prior to this issue, but updates were applied after the issue - didn't solve the issue.

Attempted the process on a Lenovo laptop to verify, again received no error message from the program and NFC function did not work on the Switch, however the Lenovo laptop had never successfully completed NFC actions before, unlike the Pi.

Have you checked your bluez version to be <= 5.53 (see #85) ?
Are you sure you are using a version supporting NFC? check #82 for info on that.
