Getting "Error code: STATUS_BREAKPOINT" error in the chrome browser

In my web application, when I click on the parent(top) node, I am calling API using AJAX. Once I get the response in AJAX, I am appending data to under the parent(top) node using the loadBranch function. But before loading data into a table, the browser is displaying the following message -

Something went wrong while displaying this webpage
Error code: STATUS_BREAKPOINT

I have also noticed this behavior when I load more than 1000 parent nodes.
