Unable to play video (correctly): Squished to side, no controls

Describe the bug

1. [Removed reference to piracy]
2. Try to play it

Swiftfin Player	Native Player

3. Swiftfin will play it, but squished to the left. Also, tapping on the screen doesn't bring up any controls, so you have to force close the app. Native player won't even start to play it.
4. Movie can be played in Jellfin mobile app, but there it takes a while to start because presumably HEVC will be transcoded first, so I would prefer using Swiftfin if possible.
5. Eventually, another version worked. Below are the infos for each of them. Let me know if I can provide anything more.

I ran into this as well but I don't have a clear method for recreating the issue. I exited a video (HEVC HDR 10bit) while in landscape and the app forced itself back in portrait. I kept the phone in landscape and resumed playback of the video and it resulted in a squished view like reported. While attempting to recreate this issue I've also repeatedly run into a problem where the video fails to load and it sits at a black screen with no player controls.

I face this a bit and just ran it through Instruments. I think it something around the chapters and how it constructs the FullInfo objects and the chapter overlay, but that's the best I could get from a single pass.

Had this same issue with particular media files and could reproduce it with the same file consistently. Upgraded server to 10.9.10 and can't reproduce the issue anymore.
If it's an issue with chapters like what @LePips mentioned, wonder if this was fixed in 10.9.8 with PR 5810? jellyfin/jellyfin-web#5810
