Little formatting nitpick:

It looks like I wrote "Github" (only G capitalized) in a few places where I should have used their preferred camelcase of "GitHub" (G and H are capitalized) -- let's get those fixed.

This should be a pretty beginner friendly bug. There's a few instances in README.md and in CONTRIBUTING.md and one in RELEASE.md. (you can use grep to see if I missed any)

bonus: see if you can get the spell checker we're using in CI to warn me next time, but without stopping us from using github (all lowercase) which is needed for links all over the docs.
