The goal of this course is to set up a new Mixed Reality project by using the Mixed Reality Toolkit, make a simple application utilizing some of the features found in the toolkit, and deploying the application to the HoloLens emulator. We will also cover
Note MRTK = Mixed Reality Toolkit
- Windows 10 (developer mode enabled)
- Visual studio 2017 with the Windows 10 SDK, C++ Build tools and Universal Windows Platform Development (remember to check it in the Visual Studio Installer when installing)
- We need the newest version of the Windows 10 SDK and currently that is not the one that gets installed from Visual Studio, so we need to download that manually: Windows 10 SDK (10.0.18362.0)
- Unity (Version 2018.3.x recommended)
- HoloLens emulator
- A copy of the Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit v2.0.0 RC1
