Hi, I have some suggestions to help solving this issue!

Here is a list of similar issues:

  1. Connection error: node
  2. ETH Wallet sync hangs
  3. Add a possibility to reset Mist / node
  4. Segmentation fault on linux
  5. Asking for a password during onboarding seems strange
