The legacy platform log rotation is an experimental feature added in v7.6 #49750
It's not a subject to semver, and it hasn't been declared as GA. It's used by the Cloud mostly.
It should be deprecated in favor of Log rotation appender added in #56291 and provide documentation on how to configure appender.
Contact Cloud to make sure they aware of the changes and ready to switch to the new appender.
