I would like to be able to ingest URLs into elasticsearch and in Discover in Kibana they would like to hover over the link and see a smaller scaled thumbnail of the picture that is behind the URL.

Alternatively, or in addition, if it would be possible to set x,y size for the thumbnail or the to constrain the X, Y Size of the image by manually defining the size.

Thanks for opening. URLs are a bit tricky for us for security reasons. This might be an enhancement for field formatter which we can do.

Closing this because it's not planned to be resolved in the foreseeable future. It will be tracked in our Icebox and will be re-opened if our priorities change. Feel free to re-open if you think it should be melted sooner.
