Hi,

It'd be great if we were able set up users / user-roles within Kibana.

As an example, I'd like to have e.g. a admin role ( which can create dashboards, visualisations ) and a "user" role which would only be able to search, but only view dashboards & visualisations and not modify those.

Ideally user auth could be setup to use

  • a internal user db (sqlite for simplicity?)
  • ldap / active-directory

or a combination of the two ( e.g. if there is no user found in ldap, fall back to local? )

Thanks,
Alex
