Currently, Hibernate implements Jakarta Data using its StatelessSession in the background, which means there is no first cache used, any operations will be flushed in the DB directly. A lot of Jakarta Persistence features are missing, including entity relations, cascade, etc.

Currently, I am not sure of the Jakarta Data status in GlassFish, see: eclipse-ee4j/eclipselink#2209 and https://eclipsefoundationhq.slack.com/archives/C040AJ787PU/p1715951162858049?thread_ts=1715902886.424969&cid=C040AJ787PU
