= How to update CobiGen

In order to update CobiGen from our devonfw distribution, we have two options:

* Open Eclipse, click on _Help_ -> _Check for updates_

* Select all the CobiGen plugins listed and click on _Next_.

If this option is not working properly, then you can try the second option:

* Open Eclipse, click on _Help_ -> _About Eclipse IDE_:

* Click on _Installation details_:

* Select all the CobiGen plugins and click on _Update_:

After the update process finishes, remember to restart Eclipse.

== Updating templates:

To update your CobiGen templates to the latest version, you just need to do one step:

* Right click any file on your package explorer, click on _CobiGen_ -> _Update templates_, then click on _download_:

Now you will have the latest templates ready!
