KCL 2.x testing

Prior to KCL 2.x we used localstack as a stub to test kinesis integration on dev and ci environment.
KCL 2.x does not work with localstack so far and it's a known issue:

• Does localstack work with Kinesis Client Library v2? localstack/localstack#893
• Kinesis Client Library v2  mhart/kinesalite#75

A workaround to make it work includes the following steps: opt-out from enhanced mode and modify http client. These steps lead us to discrepancy in what we test and what we have actually running in other environments.

What are the suggestions or recommendations on how to properly test KCL except running it against real environment?

I am also looking for a way to make it work in dev environment, but no luck.

@rajuraog unfortunately no, still use the one mentioned above with polling consumers against localstack.
