This occurs if you've adjusted the "MaxDrawDistanceForNormalObjects" option to exceed 300. Here I have it set to 600.
If you look at this bush in Ocean Beach, when it starts to go to the side of the screen it will disappear completely, along with some distant trees. This was the only place I could find with his issue. Thanks.

Just encountered this issue. It seems like the higher you set the value, the higher the chance that bigger objects will vanish (and it is a reproducible behavior).
