The config file "VCLodLights.ini" has the value "RandomExplosionEffects" under misc set to 1 by default after downloading directly from the website. If the user is to only have P2DFX loaded as the only mod, the game will crash on the first explosion, the explosion can be from any source.
This is fixed by setting it back to 0, however some users may not think to check this and therefore it would be smart to make it default to 0 in the next update to save players from complaining about it and several threads of the same topic occurring.
At the time of discovering this, I was using a version 1.0 release of the game with no additional mods and nor did an error message occur on the crash, thanks for reading this.
