Hello,

Thank you for posting this, especially the instructions on the README, I have never built and trying to solve my camera issue.

I have migrated to lineage on my Xiaomi M11 Lite, and was able to get the miui camera working with this magisk module, BUT it's lacking wide/macro lens support.

  • Will doing a custom build, like you outline in our README provide proper lens support?
  • Is there a way to get the apk for my specific model?
  • Or, does having proper lens support require additional patches before building?

This is very unfamiliar territory, so any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Is that specific to the leica lens? or what's the difference between the gitlab and github repo? Also I'm on lineage 19.1 (android 12) is the gitlab one for A13 only?

@SonalSingh18,

I took time yesterday and think I understand a bit better now. The miui leica camera is a new app from xiaomi, and they have made the app available for all miui users (I was not aware of this).

I want to try this out, but is difficult to make a magisk module from your repo?

  • I gave you the wrong link, the magisk module I installed you're actually a contributor! (https://www.romlink.xyz/2022/05/xiaomi-stock-camera.html)
  • I have opened that zip file and tried to figure out how to use your repo, seems like mainly the install/uninstall.sh?
  • There are some differences in file structure between arrow/lineage for some of the edits you have on your README?

Or is my option only a custom build?

  • I have an env ready, made the changes (Not all are possible since some files are different or don't exist)
  • I am worried, never having done this, I am going to run into problems and due to build times/life will not make much progress
