Filter clear query button not working on touch devices

Summary

Using the docs as an example:

clearing the query works on desktop but does not seem to work on touch devices. Tested on Chrome, FF, and Safari on an iOS.

Expected behavior

Tapping the icon should clear the input.

Actual behavior

No response

Steps to reproduce

This can be seen when opening the docs page on a mobile device.

1. Type a value into the query input
2. Try to clear it by tapping on the clear icon
