Describe the defect

In version 5.x of OMM MIO loading takes a long time. More noticeable the faster MIOs are returned. Delay can be as high as 2s for a dictionary load.

Expected behavior

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Load the same persistence backend of OMM in 5.x and 4.10
  2. On load observe load times for the tree
