In JabRef, when I need to adjust the column width, that is, the year, type, citation key title etc. When use mouse to drag the spliter, not only one column changes, other columns aslo change. It is very hard to fine tune the width you want to achieve. Sometimes this adjustment is very counterintuitive and frustrated.

Why not only change, for example, the right side of that column, and fixed all the left columns fixed?

The situation now is that all the columns changes, and I need to change back and forth each column again and again to meet my goal.

I think this problem persists in both windows and mac version, old and new.

@Siedlerchr Thank you, I didn't know this option for years!

It should be disabled by default (It's annoying)
