Description:

  • When pressing "V" to make soldiers unload from a landed helicopter, the helo will take off as the infantry unloads (and then half of the squad falls out of the helo).
    Note: I know about the unload waypoint types, but they don't always work and this way of doing it is also good for timed scenario events.

I also had an issue with RHS-AFRF units, where soldiers of a 12-man squad who are jumping out of a GAZ truck (again using "V") would climb back into the truck after a few seconds. Afaik no AI mods were used there, but I cannot tell you the exact list of mods used except for RHS obviously, so I'm just leaving this here as a side note.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Add e.g. a Ghost Hawk, place a NATO rifle squad inside and give it a "LAND" waypoint. Press "V" to unboard troops after it landed and sits on the ground.

Where did the issue occur?

  • Multiplayer / Singleplayer / Editor (Singleplayer) / Editor (Multiplayer)

I was able to reproduce this issue on our server. I assume your procedure is to first assign a "LAND" waypoint and once they landed to press "V". Not yet sure how to resolve it though.

Just as a side note for you: The "UNLOAD" waypoint doesn't work for units that are not in the same group as the helicopter crew. You need to use "TRANSPORT UNLOAD" instead and it should be reliable. Our reinforcement module also uses that waypoint when you select "LAND".
